We thought she would dive into the cake, but instead she put both hands gently on top and then promptly recoiled in - what seemed to be - horror. The frosting was very foreign to her. She rolled it around in her thumbs and index fingers trying to figure it out, and she never did try to eat it. The third photo here shows her reaction to tasting it (with the help of mom). Later she was seen with two frosted index fingers straight up her nose - so we're left to understand that while it may not have delighted her taste buds, she sure enjoyed the smell of it.
